Things To Do

North Idaho is best known for its beautiful scenery, mountains, lakes, forests & rivers. It truly is the perfect combination of the great outdoors, small boutiques and delicious restaurants. You will find many things to do outside during all four seasons, twelve months out of the year. Whether you are an adventurous snow skier or exploring the trails by snow shoeing. There are many trails, mountains and lakes to explore. We created a list of several activities and places that we enjoy, we hope you and your family do too!
Experience #1 | Coeur D' Alene

Ready To Explore



There are so many fun things to do in Coeur d'Alene and the surrounding area. One must do is to visit Gold Creek Lodge. They have it all. Camping, dirt bikes, trail bikes, kayaks, and boats.

Hit the Snake river down in Lewiston for an adventure you will never forget with  Snake Dancer Excursions. We have several different rivers to explore call ROW Adventures or Western Waters.

Fun for the entire family.

Visit CDA Downtown Association to see what is going on in the downtown area. We have several fun family summer activities such as parades, car shows, art shows, farmers market, outdoor concerts, etc.

Want a day on the lake, try a cruise with Lake Coeur d'Alene Cruises or be your own captain and call Resort Boat Rentals. Take the boat for dinner at one of our lake restaurants like Cedars, Tony’s on the lake, Shooters or Conklin.

Up for a spa day, some of our favorite spas in the area are CDA Resort Spa, CDA Casino, Highlands Day Spa.

Take a camping or day trip to Farragut State Park, Priest Lake or other North Idaho state parks.

If your looking for outdoor mountain activities hit the slopes. We have several mountains to choose from check out  Schweitzer Mountain, Lookout or Silver Mountain which are also great for hiking and biking in the summer.

Equally great for kids and adults.

Want a theme park? We have one of those too. Just north of town is Silverwood Theme Park  which is also home to waterpark Boulder Beach. There is something for everyone at this place.

Family fun for everyone! Stay in town and visit indoor entertainment center Triple Play Family Fun Park.
